Technology integration

Technology for Learning Experiences

I carefully select targeted and meaningful technology experiences and programs because I believe in its power to transform education. Incorporating technology into education not only teaches students how to use tech but also fosters digital literacy, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills, preparing them to thrive in an increasingly advanced and interconnected society.

From using programs such as ClassCraft for an effective gamified classroom management, to organizing virtual field trips for immersive learning adventures, integrating digital assessment tools, Geocaching,  and employing language learning apps to support ELL or learners with special needs, I’m committed to utilizing technology as a strategic tool to meet the diverse needs of my students and foster their academic growth. As such, I actively pursue opportunities to enhance my understanding and integration of technology in education, with an ongoing commitment to learning and innovation in this field.

Programs I use consistently in my practice include (but are not limited to)

Students using technology to research food pricing and develop budgeting skills for a project.

Utilizing technology to incorporate movement into learning activities, students actively participate in Wii games while simultaneously practicing decimal addition and subtraction up to the thousandths place.
